These Cheap And Romantic Irish Airbnbs Are Still Available For June Bank Holiday Weekend

Megan Cassidy

Already dreaming of the next bank holiday weekend?

With the June bank holiday just around the corner, now is the time to get organised to make sure you make the most of it.

Every day off is PRECIOUS, but summer season can be hard on the wallet with all the hollibobs, festivals, and weddings.

We’ve picked out five fabulous (and cheap!) romantic Airbnbs that will make the perfect June bank holiday escape.

1. This self-catering pub in Aglish Co. Waterford, €100

Conroy’s Old Bar is an authentic Irish village pub, completely at your disposal. It’s described as a converted authentic rural village bar where time has literally stood still. Heaven.

2. This river view log cabin in Muff, Co Donegal, €50

A gorgeous little cabin with an unspoiled view of Lough Foyle – brekkie included and we have it on good authority that the lovely hostess bakes amazing homemade scones.

3. The Wonderly Wagon in the Donegal hills, €52

Relive your childhood in a magical traditional bow top gypsy caravan, nestled into nature and off the beaten track.

4. This stone cottage with a real wood fire in Kenmare, Co Kerry, €65

This handmade cottage was built in the 1830s and is just a twenty minute drive from the village of Kenmare. Curl up in front of the fire after a day of walking, biking or visiting the nearby Beara peninsula.

5. This eco forest cottage in Co Sligo, €80

Complete tranquility and peace is part of the package here. This cottage is close to Strandhill Beach, but the quirky decor and idyllic setting means you may not want to leave at all. We’re in love with the bathroom.
