Hotel Doolin delivering free home cooked dinners

Hotel Doolin is the first carbon-neutral hotel in Ireland.

Located right in the heart of County Clare, Hotel Doolin became the first Irish hotel to be awarded carbon-neutral status in October of last year. A popular establishment with locals, they’re known for their care and dedication to the surrounding community – particularly the elderly.

While people around the country are busy adjusting to the measures put in place to stop the spread of the coronavirus, hotel staff have banded together once again to make sure that the most vulnerable are also well-looked after.

Posting a message to social media, the hotel has offered to deliver freshly cooked meals to anyone reluctant, or indeed unable, to leave their homes…completely free of charge.

“We know that there are some of you reluctant to leave the house and to go to the supermarket or a restaurant. If so, give us a call and we will deliver dinner to your house daily.

There will be no charge for the food or delivery. Just call us on 065-7074111 before 12noon with your order and we will deliver it before 6pm.”

With growing concerns over the spread of coronavirus, it’s great to see Irish businesses leading by example and putting people first.
