Man Hospitalised Following Cliffs Of Moher Parachute Jump Gone Wrong

A man is fighting for his life following an incident involving a parachute jump at the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare this morning. 

The incident occurred at approximately 7am this morning when three people attempted to undertake parachute jump from the cliffs, reports Independent.ie. 

The Irish Coast Guard, Gardaí, an ambulance and a rapid response advanced paramedic unit rushed to the scene after the man failed to land safely under unclear circumstances. 

Members from Doolin Coast Guard managed to rescue the men from the cliff base and brought them ashore. 

The injured man was airlifted to University Hospital Galway where he is believed to be in critical condition. 

Gardaí in Ennistymon are investigating.
