We certainly are spoiled in this country with the amount of castles that still dot the countryside.

The majestic Caher Castle in Galway has to be one of the nicest ones around.
Standing since the 1400s, the castle has been lovingly restored to its original state by using traditional materials as well as adding in modern conveniences like bathrooms. Thankfully.
Just LOOK at that kingsize bed.
Did I mention the turret?
It’s only 25 minutes away from Galway city, but you’ll need a car to get there because the nearest public transport is two miles away.
To live like royalty for the night it will cost €150 quid a night, but what is that to a King or Queen?
