Galway has been named the fourth best city in the world to visit in 2020 by Lonely Planet.
Beating the likes of cities such as Dubai, Vancouver and Denver; Galway is described in Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2020 as 'brilliantly bohemian.'
Hailed as arguably Ireland's most engaging city, Galway is also celebrated for being 'vivid and vibrant, brimful of imagination.'
Tourism Ireland intends to take advantage of Galway's latest accolade by rolling out a promotional campaign in Britain, the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium.
