A public Viking Clap, made popular by Iceland fans during the Euros, is taking place in Docks in Galway today.

The gathering is an attempt to make a big impression on the judging panel for the 2020 European Capital of Culture, who are spending time in the city at the moment.

The Viking Clap will kick off at 4.45pm at the Docks.
