A Massive Workout Bootcamp Took Place On Salthill Beach This Morning

Salthill Beach, Galway has to be one of the nicest beaches on our fair island. 

So when fitness trainers Becca Gillen and Dee Fitz were planning a bootcamp in Galway for the Easter weekend, they naturally chose Salthill beach as their open-air gym. 

Their free bootcamp kicked off just after 11am this morning, and come rain, hail or shine, the crowds surely showed up in throngs. 

We wish we’d been there ourselves! Take a look: 

Squats, burpees, kettlebell swings, shoulder presses, push ups and dips — this group were definitely put through their paces by the gals. 

But where better a spot to be getting your sweat on than on the edge of Galway Bay? 

Incredible scenes.
