Dough Bros now selling DIY home pizza kits and all our dreams have come true

The Dough Bros took to Instagram to make a big announcement just over a week ago, following that up with another big announcement yesterday evening.

First revealing that they’d be reopening their doors for click and collect, they’ve since gone one further and unveiled a brand new The Dough Bros DIY home pizza kit answering hungry customers’ prayers in the process.

News that the restaurant would be reopening for takeaway broke just over a week ago and while we were obviously delira to hear it, not everyone is so lucky to live within a few km of the place and avail of the service. However, knowing the demand for their signature pies was so great, the brothers have put together a very handy Dough Bros at-home kit that will let people recreate the magic at home.

How does it work?

Asking customers to think of it as a collab, most of the hard graft is already done – they do the work and you take all the glory. Each kit comes with three or four pre-cooked Margheritas and a selection of toppings that you can use to your liking. The pizza kits even come with your very own jar of Dough Bros Hot Honey and a pair of Dough Bros Socks. Sound.

Announcing the news just ahead of the weekend, the pizza kits have already sold out but keep an eye on the website for new dates and stock.

Sadly they’re only available throughout Galway city and Galway county for now but here’s hoping a nationwide option hits the market soon as I’ll be first in line. It seems like that could be a distinct possibility as well as the guys wrote: “We hope to soon deliver our new Dough Bros DIY Kits to every town and city in the land”. I nominate Longford as the first port of call on that list.
