Galway’s Lighthouse Café opens second location out in Terryland

Already with one venue on Abbeygate Street, the team behind popular Galway spot The Lighthouse Café have opened another location out in Terryland.

Being vegan/vegetarian used to be far more difficult a task. Very few places had more than one meat-free option on the menu and even at that, it was often nothing more than a few dry spuds and some veg. Tasty but not exactly the thrilling meal you’d look forward to when heading out for a bite to eat with friends.

Thankfully,  we’ve come a long way since then and following a plant-based diet has never been easier. Especially with new places popping up around the country all the time, the likes of The Lighthouse Café in Galway who has just opened a second branch out in Terryland – right next door to Keanes Florist with Niamh.

Teasing news of a second location all the way back in February when they cryptically shared a photo of a set of keys, the team has been hard at work since then… with plans only slightly postponed by Covid-19 restrictions.

Sharing a look at the finished venue, it’s bright and airy and looks every bit as inviting as we predicted it would.
