Run by lifelong foodies and best friends, Handsome Burger is the good news story of a market stall turned booming business. A staple on the Galway burger scene, the place has earned itself a reputation as being ‘the best from the west’.
Already having run successful popups at Maisie’s bar in Athlone and Eatyard in Dublin, Handsome Burger is bringing the show on the road yet again – with owners announcing collaborations with venues in both Limerick and Mayo. Expanding their offering beyond the City of Tribes, their signature burgers will soon be on offer at Flannery’s in Limerick and at Hennehan’s Bar in Westport.

Saying that it’s been ‘an absolutely rollercoaster year’, owner Rory added that ‘perseverance, hard work and staying positive’ has helped the team get back on their feet after 2020 threw what can only be described as a major spanner in the works.
‘Each day we take at a time and we are grateful that we have such incredible customers and our Galway home and base has been one of the best things for us to realise out of all this’, Rory commented.
