This Irish Restaurant Is Offering Free Taxis To Customers Who Wanna Drink And Not Drive

Is there anything more depressing than being the designated driver?

Sure, you’re the soundest person to ever live. 

But everyone is having MAD craic and you’re just sitting there sippin’ your San Pellegrino and trying not to stare longingly at everyone else’s bevvies. 

Unless you wanna be forking out for taxis – somebody’s gotta do it. 

But the wonderful folks at White Gables in Moycullen, Co. Galway wanna change that. 

By offering customers FREE taxis home! How sound is that?

Not only will you get to enjoy a wonderful evening with delish food and as many draaaanks as your heart desires, but you’ll also get home safe and sound!

The restaurant is launching this initiative this summer, but will run through the winter months too.

Dinner guests will be treated to a taxi collection service from the door of the restaurant to their home, hotel or B&B and White Gables will look after the fare.

“Dinner is always better with a lovely bottle of wine or bubbles, and as we want to ensure that our guests enjoy their evenings even more with us we thought, let’s take that stress away and provide a taxi service home,” explained Anne Dunne of White Gables Restaurant.
