PIC: Gardai Called As Large Snake Found On The Loose In Irish Park

Megan Cassidy

Gardai were called to a park in North Leitrim after a python was spotted on the loose by a Sunday stroller.

The snake, identified as a python by the Leitrim Observer, was discovered in Kinlough Park yesterday (Sunday July 8).

A Reddit user shared a photo of the snake with the caption:

‘Entrance to the forest walk at the eco park in Kinlough. Thought it was fake when I first seen it earlier but have seen a few photos posted now.

‘The gardai where called and contacted the ISPCA who are currently searching the park. Homegrown or left go free?’
