Wanting to give back in some small way, popular Limerick café Hook & Ladder will be handing out complimentary teas and coffees to frontline retail staff today.
Tuesday morning and I think it’s safe to say that this week has already been tougher than most. An exceptionally difficult time, people all across the country are still coming to terms with last night’s government announcement – preparing themselves, their families and their businesses for what’s to come as we head into another lockdown.
Not wholly unexpected, the decision to enforce level 5 restrictions until early December is still a bitter pill to swallow. Wanting to make some small gesture to ease the anxieties of the day, one well-known Limerick café has promised complimentary teas/coffees to all frontline retail staff as a little thank you for their hard work.
“With tonight’s announcement, Hook & Ladder would like to give a little something to all retail staff whom are looking at exceptionally tough times in the lead up to Christmas. It’s not the biggest gesture but tomorrow, all of our Hook & Ladder outlets will be serving complimentary takeaway Hot Beverages to anyone affected!! So pop in & enjoy a drink on us.”
