Limerick Student Injured After Being Robbed And Thrown From Car

Gardaí are searching for three men after a a student was robbed and thrown from a car on Monday evening.

According to The Irish Times, the incident took place near Limerick Institute of Technology around 6pm.

Garda Louise Johnson explained:

“Two students were walking towards the LIT roundabout when a male in a passenger seat of a vehicle which was parked up at the roundabout called one of these students over,”

“When the injured party went over to check what this person wanted, he was pulled in through the car window.”

The victim’s wallet was then stolen before he was thrown from the vehicle, receiving minor bruising and grazing. 

Gardaí are looking for a dark blue Peugeot hatchback which was described to them by the victim. All three of the men in the vehicle are said to be in their early 20s.

The driver had dark hair and was of slim build, the front seat passenger was also of slim build while the back seat passenger was described as having blonde hair.
