Are you living in Limerick and have a penchant for art?

Well, have we got news for you.

Artist and Limerick local Steve O’Donnell of All Out Design along with his band of merry men have just created this spectacular piece of art for none other than the Gorillaz themselves.

The piece is located on the Shannon Bridge roundabout on the main route into the city, and looks a little like this…

The piece kicks off the Gorillaz worldwide guerrilla marketing campaign in style with this monster mural spotted in the dead centre of Limerick City.

O’Donnell had this to say about the art work:

”It was an absolute joy to work on this one. Everyone seemed to enjoy it just as much as I did painting it! Constant well wishes, beeps and even a few cheers throughout the day!

Shout outs to Steamboat Records, Crude and of course Gorillaz.”

Will you be near Limerick City this long weekend? Make sure to stop by and check out Munster’s newest and coolest piece of art.
