Irishman (62) Dies In London After Alleged Altercation With Teenagers

James Fenton

Police in London are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 62-year-old Irishman on April 12.

Joseph Kelly, originally from Tullamore in Co. Offaly, is said to have been involved with an argument with two teenagers.

He was found unconscious outside his home in the Moselle Avenue area of North London.

DCI Luke Marks, the officer leading the investigation, told the Irish Mirror:

“The death is not being treated as a homicide, however a police investigation into the circumstances of the death continues.

“I am very keen to trace anyone who saw Mr Kelly in Moselle Avenue, and in particular I wish to speak with two teenagers who had argued with him shortly before he collapsed.

“I would urge those young men to get in touch and simply tell me what happened.”
