A Teenager Has Died After A Single Car Collision In Co. Tipperary

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy died in a single-car collision in Co. Tipperary. 

The 16-year-old was fatally injured after the car he was traveling in hit a tree at Boston on the Ballingarry North to Cloughjordan road, close to the border with Offaly, at around 3.45pm yesterday. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene while a 22-year-old male and 17-year old female were taken to Tullamore Hospital and University Hospital Limerick. The male is said to be in a serious condition.
