Two Being Questioned After Violent Robbery In Waterford

Two men are being questioned after a shop robbery in Waterford.

It happened at Jay Bees Shop on the Dunmore Road in the city, according to Beat 102-103.

A 25 year-old and an 18-year old man entered the shop with knives and demanded money.

Some cash was handed over but there were no injuries.

They fled the scene in a blue Ford Focus, which was later discovered by Gardaí in the city centre. 

Both men are being detained in Waterford Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
