10 of the best coffee trailers and containers in Wexford

Lynda Keogh

Does Wexford remind anyone else of their childhood summers?

It definitely brings back all the memories for me; the beaches, the strawberries and days spent running around with friends. I think that it’s also important to include that my memories are also peppered with the nightmarish memories of getting stuck in Enniscorthy for what seemed like hourrrrrs before the By-Pass was introduced.

Although Wexford is still just as much fun; there’s a lot less of the running around with friends – more like sitting around with a few drinks! Also, I’m definitely a lot more tired these days, so coffee is definitely a priority. Supporting local and small is one of my favourite things to do in Dublin and when I’m on a staycation.

In my opinion these spots are some of the best coffee trailers Wexford has to offer!

Eye Catcher Coffee

Definitely eye-catching. We Stan the decorative accents of pink! Grab yourself an iced coffee, maybe even a cheeky cookie or a doughnut if you fancy. Oh and best of all – these guys are dog friendly! Make sure to bring your pooch and spoil them with a Puppachino!!

Grounded Coffee

These guys are only open a wet week and are already making waves in the coffee community! Get down and support these guys this weekend if you happen to be in and around Gorey.

Box Coffee

You’ll find these guys either at Arklow South Beach or at the Castletown Golden Anchor Pub. Serving up incredible coffees and delicious treats, if you’re in need of a caffeine hit – this spot will definitely fill the gap!

The Trough

This weekend you’ll find The Trough guys in both Kilmore Quay and Drinagh – check out their Instagram for more details. We HIGHLY recommend their delicious croissants! Essential addition to make for the perfect coffee experience.

Wexford Coffee Roasters

Their tag line is “Keeping Wexford awake one coffee at a time!” – Amennnn to that! Wexford Coffee Roasters is a family run business aiming to buy local and support local, whilst prioritising sustainability.

The Horse’s Trough

The Horse’s Trough serves up a very decent cuppa coffee, there you heard it from the horse’s mouth… Sorry couldn’t help myself! The size of this iced coffee is beyond perfect and is bound to get you through the day (and maybe the night!)

The Alcove

Grab a coffee and a little treat here, and head to the beach. Bring the suncream and the beach towel, sit back and enjoy! Make sure to bring your rubbish home with you.

Ufucoffee

This is the spot for an iced coffee or cool down with a deliciously, icey slushie. We recommend their coconut-chocolate iced mocha.

Sue’s Coffee

Two locations to choose from; Kilmore GAA Pitch or the Murrintown Community Centre. Get yourself down this weekend, delish coffee for all!

The Pot Belly Cafe

Okay, so this place isn’t limited to just good coffee – you can get reaaaaally good food here too. Get yourself a coffee and a bacon and cheese burger, some call it the cure!
