Calling all craft beer lovers!

Wicklow Wolf, the Irish brewery with a focus on sustainability have just opened their new tap room to the general public. As well as core and limited edition beers, many of which you won’t find on tap anywhere else, you can expect delicious pizzas provided by the nearby Firehouse Bakery. A great day out, by all accounts.

Based in their Newtownmountkennedy brewery in Wicklow, the new taproom is home to a lounge area, a tasting room, an outdoor seating area and a mezzanine level from which you can catch a glimpse at the brewery floor beneath. Visitors will be encouraged to sit back, relax and watch a virtual self guided tour before sampling a beer or two from Wicklow Wolf’s selection. When in Rome and all that.

For weekend visitors, there’s also the option of guided tours of the brewery which run from 2pm every Saturday. Learn all about the beers from the people that created them, before finishing up with a guided tasting with some of Wicklow Wolf’s most popular beers in the tasting room.  Tickets are €20 per person, and available via the Wicklow Wolf WEBSITE.

Wicklow Wolf have scheduled tours running this Thursday, Friday and Saturday – a great bank holiday weekend activity, or date idea for the beer lover in your life!
