Christmas will look a little different this year due to current circumstances and while many of the annual traditions may have to be put on hold (including Dublin’s Mistletown Fair), one Wicklow spot is making sure that their popular Christmas markets go ahead as planned.
Revealing that it’s still very much all systems go when it comes to their festive plans, Killruddery House in Bray can be credited as the reason behind many a happy head last night. Announcing that their yearly Christmas markets will be happening this year, organisers confirmed the details on social media, writing:
“We invite you to bask in the festive season at our Christmas Market this December. Showcasing the very best in local talent, you can discover an extensive range of art, craft, boutique fashion & homeware, luxury gift boxes, delicious hot & cold food, and much more.
“The Grain Store will be dressed for the season, and the atmosphere magical. We hope to see you there.”

Taking place next month in the runup to December 25th, the market will run on the following dates:
- December 5th/6th
- December 12th/13th
- December 17th/18th
- December 18th/20th
With most people looking to support Irish when doing their shopping, this would be the perfect place to pick up some bits by local artists and traders.
