This One-Day Festival In Wicklow Has Just Been Announced And It Sounds Amazing

Looks like the summer festival season has just gotten even better.

Sim Simma, the promoters and DJs who regularly host deadly dancehall, afrobeat, reggae, and grime nights in Dublin city, are planning a one-day festival (which means you don’t even need to book time off work) in Grangecon, Co. Wicklow on Saturday July 8 until 2am the next morning.

The line-up hasn’t been revealed yet but the festival is promising “live music, workshops, DJs, MCs, art, games, spoken word, locally brewed beer, BYOB, fresh food, and beautiful surroundings”.

Resident DJ’s with Sim Simma are currently on a Brazilian Carnival tour, which should give you a good idea of the kind of absolute craic that these guys bring to the music scene. Expect good vibes and LOTS of dancing.

There will be private buses to and from Dublin, so no need to stress out over transport, and you can get early bird tickets from €45, and full price at €55 (+ booking fees) here.
