Picture yourself in the sun with a cool, crisp pint looking out at the stunning West Coast landscape. Croagh Patrick is one of the most incredible sites in the Emereld Isle and this beer garden is the ideal spot to take it all in.
Summer 2019 has been a long time coming, it seems we’ve completely skipped spring due to the longest.winter.ever. The entire country was pretty much crying out for a bit of sun and we deserve it, it’s been gloomy for too long now.
So, I took it upon myself to plan a little bucket list of beer gardens across Ireland that I need to hit this summer. Nothing beats a few scoops in the sun with your mates.
That’s when I stumbled upon The Towers in Westport.
The gastro pub has one of the most scenic views I’ve ever seen, it’s unreal. Imagine sipping on your G&T and seeing Croagh Patrick just looking all gorge and green.
The pub itself serves up some tasty grub, craft beers, deadly G&Ts and they also have live music on the regular – The dream.
Wesport itself is a whopper town and great craic for a night out. It will definitely be on the agenda for a summer weekend getaway and this bar will be up there as my first visit.
