5 New Netflix Releases You Probably Haven’t Seen Yet

Alana Laverty

Feeling tired after a long day of eating and doing nothing?

Our prescription? You need to retreat to a blanket fort of some description.

Good thing Netflix is pulling out all the stops as of late and absolutely nailing it in terms of deadly films to slump to. Don’t feel bad, slump it up. Here’s some brand new releases.

1. Skiptrace

A detective from Hong Kong teams up with an American gambler to battle against a notorious Chinese criminal.

An unlikely duo.

2. The Maze Runner

You may or may not have already seen this one. But we can guarantee you it’s brilliant.

It’s the story of a lad who’s deposited into a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they’re all trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with fellow “runners” for a shot at escape.

3. Shooter

This Netflix Original has really got people talking.

The story of a legendary sniper who lives in exile until he is coaxed back into action after learning of a planned assassination of the US president.

4. The Ivory Game

This documentary exposes the dark world of ivory trafficking from the planes of Africa to the streets of China.

Elephants are disappearing at the staggering rate of 1 every 15 minutes. Their deaths are fueled by the illegal ivory trade, a dangerous network of violence and corruption that a brave and dedicated few are daring to dismantle

5. Men, Women & Children

This one’s creepy. And you won’t help but hate Jennifer Garner’s overbearing character.

The story of teenagers and parents attempting to navigate the many ways the Internet has changed their relationships, their communication, their self-image, and their love lives.
