Saoirse Ronan seems to be everywhereeeee since 2018 began and now the Ronan name will even be on Irish television screens.
Her father, Paul Ronan, will be joining the cast of Fair City and was acting long before Saoirse came on the scene.
He has had roles in Striking Out, The Tudors and Ballykissangel but now he's headed for Carrigstown.
He will play the role of Anto Collins according to The Irish Mirror who is the dad of feisty sisters, Hayley and Harmony.
Filming has already began for Paul and it is reported that the Collins family will become a permanent fixture in the show.
A show insider said: “The Collins family are set to make quite a stir. They're certainly not The Waltons so viewers can expect to see lots of drama as Sharon and Anto join Hayley and Harmony.”
Paul will make his first appearance as Anto Collins onscreen in March.
