The “10 minute punch-up” took place shortly after the performance began.

Fans at Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Tour live show at Glasgow’s Hydro Arena were left confused after a fight reportedly broke out in the audience – with some commentators assuming it was part of the show.

According to the Irish Mirror, the performance was temporarily halted while security moved in to “restore calm”, allowing the gig to continue.

An SEC spokesperson said:

The individuals in question were removed as soon as our team became aware of the situation, as is standard practice.

After Saturdays show the Mrs Brown’s Boys Facebook page shared a clip of the audience, writing: “Thank you so so much Glasgow what an amazing couple of days in your amazing arena”.

Most comments consisted of praise for the show, with some acknowledging the “mishap at the start”.

One person claimed: “Don’t know what was funnier the actual performance or the fact the show stopped whilst the fight was happening in the crowd”. Another added: “Hopefully no cat fights in the crowd on your next show”.

Another fan commented that someone in the row behind them was “very loud and drunk” and “ended up crying”. She said that “security were fantastic”, taking the person outside until they “calmed down” and were then let back in to enjoy the rest of the show.
Never a dull moment for Agnes.
