Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Princess Beatrice got married to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a small ceremony in Windsor today.

The elder daughter of Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo tied the knot at 11am in The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

A statement says that ‘the small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines.’

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo were due to marry on May 29 but this was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. They became engaged in Italy in September of last year.

Beatrice’s younger sister Eugenie got married to Jack Brooksbank in October 2018 in a ceremony that was viewed by an average audience of three million people on ITV.
