The Toy Show is not scheduled to take place until the Christmas season but RTE is giving us a special slice of the iconic TV event later this month.
The national broadcaster has announced that a Toy Show singalong will take place on Sunday, July 19 on RTE One. It will feature singalong versions of classic moments on the Toy Show, with memorable performances of The Cup Song, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hit the Diff, The Greatest Showman, Old Town Road and Frozen all featuring.

Ryan Tubridy will be leading the charge, naturally, and all the lyrics will be on the screen to help your family sing along to all the classic moments. Speaking about the special screening, Tubridy said: “Given how crazy it has been in the last few months, and how the rain seems to be winning the battle against the sun for summer skies of late, we thought it was time to brighten up the TV and have a look back at The Late Late Toy Shows of yesteryear.”
He added: “I hope that all the children, who are tall and small, who are young and old, can sit back, get the popcorn out on Sunday, July 19, sing along, laugh, and enjoy.”
You can watch it all unfold on July 19 on RTE One from 6.30pm. Plenty of time to get those vocal chords warmed up.
