The Late Late Show have invited people to apply to be part of the first studio audience since March 2020.

Ryan Tubridy has been presenting the Late Late Show in a practically empty studio since the onset of the pandemic last year but with restrictions easing, hopes are high that an audience could be back during the next season.

In a statement issued today, The Late Late Show said: ‘We’ve missed you! The Late Late Show is looking forward to welcoming our studio audience back when it is safe to do so. We are hoping that will happen during our upcoming season, which begins in September.’

All you have to do is tell RTÉ why you want to be part of the exciting return of the famous Late Late Show studio audience. Let’s be honest, it’s the chance of getting free stuff, right?

The statement adds: ‘At present for the health and safety of RTÉ staff and crew working on our live programmes, we are only accepting applications from people who will be fully vaccinated at the time of broadcast. Proof of vaccination will be required for admission to TV Studios. You must be over-18 to apply. RTÉ reserve the right of admission. Tickets are strictly non-transferable.’
