Bake Off: The Professionals starts next week and there’s an Irish pastry chef involved

Bake Off: The Professionals is back and there will be some Irish interest this year in the form of pastry chef Rebecca Piccione.

Rebecca revealed the news that she will be taking part in Bake Off: The Professionals via her Instagram page, posting: Time to reveal the hardest secret I’ve ever had to keep! I thought what better way to make 2020/21 a bit more crazy then entering one of the hardest pastry competitions with some of the most talented chefs I’ve ever seen! Especially my favourite and extremely skilled @keiron_george.’

A quick scroll through Rebecca’s page shows the extent of her talents and she’s sure to impress judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden when the show kicks off.

Bake Off: The Professionals gets underway on Tuesday, May 25 on Channel 4 at 8pm, running for 10 weeks.
