Great news for all you Ted addicts out there.
Tickets for the 11th annual Tedfest in the Aran Islands have been released so revellers can start preparing their priest and nun outfits for the 2018 event.
If you’ve never been to Tedfest, you’re definitely missing out. It was set up in 2007 as a one off event and the crowds of Father Ted fans have grown every year. Now, we’re not any good at judging the size of crowds but we reckon there was about a million people there last year.
Ted Fest 2018 takes place from Thursday February 22 until Sunday February 25 2018 with tickets for the whole weekend costing €150. This gets you entry to the three main venues, Watty’s, Shebangos and the Crack Den as well entry to compete in the sporty events on arrival.
Accommodation is not included but you do get a free cup of tea on arrival! Sure didn’t the Lord himself stop for a nice cup of tea before giving himself up for the world? No he didn’t, Mrs. Doyle!
