Channing Tatum finds his ‘queen’ at Gorey tourist spot

I’m sure many a woman has tried to win Channing Tatum’s affection over the years but as it turns out, he has eyes for one little lady only.

And I’m not talking about Zoe Kravitz. This ‘queen’ is smaller and fluffier, with a long tail and a penchant for mealworms.

Magic Mike star Channing Tatum spent time over the weekend at Wells House in Gorey, and was particularly enthralled by the tourist attraction’s Meerkat Experience.

As in… I think he literally fell in love with a meerkat.

In a series of Instagram stories, the Hollywood star showed off his “matriarch for the day”, a grey and black meerkat with a serious ability to work the camera – that beady eyed stare and prominent snout really just sucks you in.

Tatum’s first story shows him holding the meerkat with the title “My matriarch for the day! She a real one”. He then shared a different angle in which we see the meerkat “giving face”, by Channing’s own description, and chowing down on a healthy pile of worms under the caption “feast my queen!” while CT lovingly looks on.

His final story in the series is captioned “until we meet again my queen!” as the queen in question perches atop a meerkat-sized slide, looking into the distance, possibly overwhelmed by the sudden and intense affection from an a-list celebrity.

If you’d like to fall in love with a mongoose a la Channing Tatum, you can plan your visit to the Wells House and Gardens HERE.

The meerkats clearly haven’t let the fame change them.
