What Planet Are You On? will return to Irish tellies this year and RTE IS looking for four households to take part in the new series.
RTE is looking for contestants to take part in the upcoming series of What Planet Are You On? Presented by Maïa Dunphy, the show is due to return to RTE One later this year and is asking families/households across the country willing to partake to get in touch.
Searching for a total of four households, successful participants will take on the challenge of doing their bit to combat climate change. Saying that this is a “great opportunity” to learn how making small changes can have a positive impact, a post on the RTE website reads:
“Does your shower run a little longer than it should? Does the green bin give you a headache? Is the electric kettle always on boil? Is the family car never off the road? Then we want to hear from you!”
The post then goes on to explain what exactly is involved.
“Over the course of four weeks, with the support and help of the What Planet Are You On? experts each household will learn where they are going wrong by taking on the challenges to make improvements inside and outside of their home in the areas of water, waste, energy and food.”
And there’s a hefty sum of money up for grabs too as the most improved household will take home €5k in prize money.
