Dancing With The Stars Ireland to return in January

Been missing the glitz and glam only Dancing With the Stars can provide?

Who among us doesn’t want to see 12 Irish celebs don their sequins and dance their little hearts out every Sunday night? It makes January that little bit brighter and let’s be honest – as people living in Ireland, we need all the brightness we can get.

Over the weekend, DWTS confirmed via Twitter that the show would return to RTÉ in January 2022.

The tweet reads:

It’s official. We’re back! Join Jennifer, Nicky and 12 brave celebrities who will don those famous sparkles and sequins and strut their stuff on the dance floor this January.

DWTS Ireland also confirmed that judges Loraine Barry and Brian Redmond are set to return to the judging panel alongside brand new judge, Arthur Gourounlian.

And of course, James Patrice will be on hand bringing us all the inside scoop from the rehearsal room to the dance floor.

Host Jennifer Zamparelli also took to Insta to confirm the news, writing:

We all need a bit of glitz and glam and in January it’s coming to RTÉ One. Cannot wait ! It’s been a while… this is definitely the year I’ll fall down those stairs in heels.
