As Boris Johnson remains ‘holed up inside watching box sets’ as one journalist put it on Sky News last night, Twitter is abuzz with speculations surrounding his pending resignation.
With what seems to be a permanent crowd chanting “Boris out” outside 10 Downing Street, and press ready to pounce at the slightest hint of movement around the front door, you may be wondering how Boris’s food and hair products are making their way inside. It’s hard to say for sure, but there’s probably nothing being dropped off via Deliveroo by the looks of things.
As memes, hot takes and “Boris gone-son’ wordplays continue to come in hard and fast on social media, Deliveroo have decided to weigh in on the action.
I know there are a lot of changes going on in terms of employment right now but if anyone can find the time to give Deliveroo’s social media manager a raise, I think it’s definitely deserved.

So simple, yet so effective. “Expert trolling”, as one Twitter user aptly put it.
And now, as we await Boris’s approach to the podium to formally announce his departure, here’s Mr Tayto asking him to resign. To be fair, we were all waiting for him to weigh in on the subject.
