Dolly Parton is just one of two music megastars on this week’s Late Late Show

For the second time in just over two months, Dolly Parton will be one of Ryan Tubridy’s guests on the Late Late Show.

Back in December, viewers flocked to heap praise upon legendary singer Dolly Parton after her last appearance on RTÉ’s flagship chat show and this week probably won’t be any different. Dolly will be joined by Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees as the pair discuss their long careers in the music industry and explain why they’ve teamed up to record an album.

Speaking of music royalty, Ryan will also be speaking to Eve Hewson about growing up in Ireland as the daughter of U2’s Bono as well as her role in Behind Her Eyes, one of the most-talked about new releases on Netflix.

Trish Kearney will be a name familiar to listeners of ‘Where Is George Gibney?’ podcast that came out last year and she will be telling Ryan the story of how she was sexually abused for years by the disgraced former swimming coach.

Pat Shortt and his daughter Faye will be on to discuss teaming up as a comedy duo, while live music will be provided by singer-songwriter Megan O’Neill.

You’ll be able to watch all this and more on The Late Late Show this Friday night at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
