With local fans managing to catch a glimpse of the Taken star too.
The wee village of Ardara in Donegal has undergone a temporary makeover, as the cast and crew of new movie In the Land of Saints and Sinners have arrived to begin filming.
Shop fronts throughout Ardara have been transformed to take on the appearance of a West Cork village for the film which is set in rural 1970s Ireland.
Fans gathered in the hopes of catching a glimpse of Liam Neeson, who stars in the new film. He said a few quick hellos, including to a woman who introduced herself as Samantha before insisting “sweetheart, I gotta go to work”.
Folk in the comments have now begun scripting their own Hollywood movie – Samantha and Liam: the Backstory. 11/10 would watch.
