Electric Picnic have only gone and bloody done it.

After nearly 12 years of hosting the epic festival at Stradbally in Co. Laoise, they've decided to give something back to the local community.

The organisers have donated €65,000 towards a new football pitch in the town complete with a running track, kids' playground and car park. 

It's a generous gesture but a worthy one, as there's no doubt that the people of Stradbally have had to put up with enough over the past 12 years!
