Season six will be the series finale of the much loved BBC drama Peaky Blinders.
Tommy Shelby and his band of miscreants will be calling it a day very soon as show bosses have revealed that season six will be the final season of the hit BBC drama Peaky Blinders.
Updating fans on what’s to come, series creator Steven Knight confirmed that filming for the upcoming season has begun, writing that “Peaky is back with a bang”.
Previously delayed due to the pandemic, cast and crew are picking up where they left off with Knight adding that “the stakes have never been higher”. Keeping tight-lipped on the details, all Tommy Bulfin, Executive Producer for the BBC commented that the scripts for series six are “truly remarkable” and will provide a “fitting” send-off for the characters.
“We are very excited that filming for Peaky Blinders has begun and so grateful to everyone for all their hard work to make it happen. Steve’s scripts for series six are truly remarkable and provide a fitting send-off which we are sure will delight fans.”

Confident that it will be “the best series of all”, Knight later hinted that the story will continue in another form so the end may not be the end after all. Watch this space.
