Five of the best celebrity autobiographies released in 2021

Rory Cashin

Some star-studded Christmas sock-fillers to choose from here…

Every year, some of the biggest celebrities in the world let us into their lives just a little bit, via the medium of the autobiography.

2021 is no different, with some of the stars of movies, TV and music giving some insight to who they really are, and how they get there.

WILL by Will Smith

From rapper to actor, TV star to Academy Award nominated Hollywood legend, Will Smith has had quite the journey. From humble beginnings to one of the most recognisable faces in the world, Smith tells the story of his life to date, being a part of some of the biggest blockbusters of all time, as well as never-before-revealed insights into his private life.

THE BEAUTY OF LIVING TWICE by Sharon Stone

Perhaps still best known for the role of the serial killer in Basic Instinct, many have forgotten that Sharon Stone is an Oscar-nominated legend who has worked with some of the best in the business. She’s also survived life-threatening illnesses, an era in Hollywood when women weren’t safe as they always should be, and a lot more besides.

TASTE by Stanley Tucci

The Internet’s Favourite Uncle, the star of The Devil Wears Prada and The Hunger Games tells us about his life, but through the medium of food. Tucci is a massive food lover, so we get to know more about him while he’s also teaching us how to make delicious meals!

BILLIE EILISH by Billie Eilish

Not an autobiography in a traditional sense, this is more a photo collection paired with some pithy comments by Billie about her life growing up in the Eilish household. She is still only 19 years old, so there is plenty of time for a proper autobiography, but this will do for the fans for now.

YEARBOOK by Seth Rogen

The comedy star of The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Superbad, Knocked Up, Neighbours and more has released a collection of true stories and essays, decked out in a high-school’esque presentation of a year book. Turns out he’s still really funny in the written form, too.
