Galway Christmas Lights To Go On This Friday

Stepping up to the plate much earlier to the Christmas plate than anywhere else, Galway’s Christmas lights are being switched on this Friday between 5:45pm and 6:15pm.

The lucky person asked to turn on the lights this year is none other than Galway United’s new manager, Shane Keegan.

The official switching on ceremony will take place on Friday evening at Mainguard Street in the city centre.

All are welcomed to this sure-to-be deadly event.
