Although we were beyond buzzing to be gifted with the joy that was last night's Gavin and Stacey Christmas special, we knew we'd be left wanting more. It's just too good and we're just too greedy.
Well, we may be getting just that.
Ruth Jones, who plays Nessa Jenkins in the series, revealed to The Sun that she thought there was potential for more after last night's cliffhanger (spoilers ahead).
She said, "It is so complicated for me and James to get together to write.
"I do say never say never, as while we did make it work that was after three years of trying to find the time when we could sit down and write it. Obviously, with the way it ends, there is room for more.
"It’s a shame we didn’t have more time when we were writing so we could have written more, then have it all ready to go. But it was such a challenge to get that special filmed."
Last nights special saw Ruth's character Nessa get down on one knee and propose Smithy, played by James Corden, after confessing her love for him.
And with that cliffhanger, we obviously want more Gavin and Stacey. No, not want. We need more.

The Christmas special saw the series return to our screens for the first time since 2010 when the show ended.
It followed the characters a decade on from where the series left off and reminded us why we loved it so much in the first place.
The actress added, "I think just enjoy this special, and then we will see what the next few years bring."
