Anthony’s season is already looking to be a steamy one
Bridgerton was hugely successful when it aired on Netflix last year. The romance between Daphne and Simon the Duke of Hastings captured our hearts, although this season will focus on Daphne’s brother Anthony instead.

Last season, Anthony, played by Jonathan Bailey, pursued Siena Rosso, an opera singer. Unfortunately the pair were continuously at odds given the difference in their social standing, which led to their inevitable split. Now Anthony, as the eldest Bridgerton sibling, is seriously looking for a wife, and in this sneak peek, it seems he’s got very specific requirements.
In the clip Anthony meets Kate Sharma, played by Simone Ashley, known for her role as Olivia in Sex Education. The pair get off to a rocky start, but as is the way with Bridgerton, this generally suggests there’s romance on the horizon. The character of Kate is particularly anticipated by readers of the books.
Bridgerton season two will land on Netflix sometime in 2022. We’ll anxiously await further trailers and spoilers from Lady Whistledown.
