The Late Late Show is welcoming some music royalty this Friday night, with Gloria Estefan among the guests for the third episode of the new season.

The Miami Sound Machine songstress will be appearing on the Late Late Show to chat with Ryan Tubridy about everything from her career and music and the current US political situation. The Cuban-American singer will bring an international flavour to the broadcast but as always there will be plenty of homegrown stars taking part as well.

Actor Domhnall Gleeson will be talking about his upcoming projects as well as his support for the Hospice Coffee Morning which takes place on September 24. Limerick rapper Denise Chaila will perform her new single Chaila (below) and reflect with Ryan on her breakthrough year.  There will also be a special acoustic performance from James Vincent McMorrow.

Dublin Lord Mayor Hazel Chu will also be on to discuss her role, what it was like to grow up in Ireland as the daughter of Chinese immigrants and how the capital is coping with the pandemic.

Famous Irish diaspora member Dermot O’Leary will talk about fatherhood and his new career as a children’s author, while Irish dancing TikTok stars Cairde and hotelier Francis Brennan complete the line-up.

You can catch it all at the usual time and place of 9.35pm on RTE One on Friday night.
