Greg O’Shea channels Love Actually to promote new show on Virgin Media

Love Island winner Greg O’Shea returns to our screens this week in a new rugby-centric entertainment show ahead of the start of the 2020 Six Nations.

The Line-Out will see the Ireland rugby sevens international team up with the Six O’Clock Show’s Muireann O’Connell to bring viewers up to speed ahead of every Six Nations weekend.

Virgin Media have now released a promo for the show which sees Greg channel the famous Love Actually scene when Mark (Andrew Lincoln) turns up at Juliet (Keira Knightley)’s door professing his love his best mate’s new wife. In the clip, poor Andrew Trimble plays the role of the clueless new husband as Muireann runs to answer the door and, well, you can see the rest for yourself below…

From Love Island to Love Actually, it will be interesting to see how the trio get on when The Line-Out debuts on Virgin Media Two this Thursday at 10pm.

Originally called The Late Tackle when the show was announced earlier this month, it’s described as an ‘entertainment show with a focus on rugby’. Virgin Media will the home of the Six Nations again this year, bringing all five of Ireland’s games live and you can view the full schedule here.

Andy Farrell’s Ireland side will be hoping to get off to a flying start this Saturday when they take on Scotland at the Aviva Stadium and we all know where to turn for the latest news and views. Over to you Keira, sorry, Muireann, Greg O’Shea and Andrew.
