Irish Hamilton fans have just hit the jackpot as it’s been revealed that they can join a free pre-watch party with some of the musical’s cast members ahead of its premiere on Disney+.
The highly anticipated film version of Broadway musical Hamilton is due to hit Disney+ next month. Premiering on July 3rd, the cast of the show is celebrating by hosting an online meet-up which Irish fans are invited to join.
Taking place on July 2nd, Irish Hamilton fans are invited to join members of the cast for a pre-watch party with original cast member Thayne Jasperson, Austin Scott and Ryan Vasques. Discussing all things related to the show they’ll answer fan questions and may even perform should we be so lucky.
Hosted by BOOM Masterclass, an online platform set up by a group of Irish theatre-makers, the event is free to attend but people are encouraged to make a donation to Ireland’s Artist Emergency Relief Fund if they can afford to do so. Set up by The Civic Theatre in Tallaght, so far the initiative has raised in excess of €40,000 for Irish artists suffering financial hardship due to Covid-19.
