Ireland’s first-ever Halloween radio station will rise again this week

Halloween

Halloween FM is Christmas FM’s festive autumn cousin.

Today is one of the Mondayest Mondays I’ve had in a long time – things seemed to have piled up over the weekend and today is the day that something as minor as a badly-made cup of tea could push me over the edge. Knowing that I’m not alone in feeling this way is somewhat reassuring though and so, let us trudge on together.

Grabbing at any little good news snippet with both hands, one thing that has lifted my mood this bleak October afternoon is word that Halloween FM will be back on our airwaves this week. Already 19 days into spooky season, we’ve more than come to terms with the fact that Halloween celebrations will look different this year but at least our festive playlists will still be taken care of.

Brought to us by the people behind Christmas FM, the seasonal favourite will rise from the dead (so to speak) on October 22nd. Creeping its way back online this Thursday, consider it your one-stop station for all things Halloween.

Listen online or follow them on social for more updates. Looks like they’re already taking wicked music requests too.

So many good tunes spring to mind but I’m voting for This is Halloween from The Nightmare Before Christmas… a classic.
