Irish music is on the up.

It's no secret that Dublin is a hub for amazing, up and coming musical artists.

We've got singers like Erica Cody and Soulé, rappers like Mango Dassle and God Knows, and of course bands like Le Boom and Hare Squead.

There are SO many talented singer and musicans out at the minute - and these are some of my favourite that need to be on the radio stat...

Originating from Dunboyne in County Meath, CMAT is a songwriter and singer who has a voice like Dolly Parton and First Aid Kit put together.

She writes funny, witty lyrics and of course, can play multiple instruments. Amazing.

DUBH or as many know him, Colm, is a farmer and singer from Kildare.

Fresh from performing at sold out queer performance show GlitterHole, DUBH makes covers of songs on his piano.

His voice is just gorgeous.

Hvmmingbyrd are comprised of Deborah Byrne and Suzette Das, hailing from Kildare and Dublin.

The duo create their own songs and make beautiful covers, my favourite in particular is their mashup of Madonna's Ray of Light and Massive Attack's Teardrop.

Jack Rua

Having just reached 10,000 streams on Spotify, Jack Rua is one to watch.

His song Scarlet A is a serious bop - have a listen.

As you can see, there are a ton of musicians making serious art at the minute.

Make sure to follow every artist on Instagram, you won't wanna miss out on their very bright futures ahead.
