Irish Rail Is Increasing Its Services Over Christmas

katedemolder

Irish rail is adding to its service for the festive season.

Iarnród Éireann just recently announced that late night DART, Dundalk and Maynooth line commuter services are to be restored from this Friday night, December 2.

This service will run during the few weekends before Christmas, and following Dublin’s New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Iarnród Éireann also asking drivers who use the M50 daily to be patient, and to follow instructions from emergency personnel. An Garda Síochána, Dublin Fire Brigade, Dublin City Council and Transport Infrastructure Ireland are backing up this request also.

The M50 now caters for up to 140 thousand cars a day, a number that’s steadily rising each year.
