It took our country 7 long years to recover emotionally from the infamous Five In A Row fiasco of 2014.
In September of this year, we heard the first whisperings that the big GB had plans to return to Croker for one more go at it. Battle stations were go. Twitter erupted. It was a whole thing.
And now it’s officially been confirmed. Garth Brooks will return to Ireland in September 2022, for two nights.

The shows will take place on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th, with tickets on sale next Thursday from 8am. As it stands, these are the only dates announced, but according to RTÉ it’s understood that planning could allow for up to five concerts. Eeeep.
Aiken Promotions say these are the only European dates Garth will play next year.

Shop locally for your cowboy hats if at all possible. It’s what Garth would want.

This one isn’t necessarily about the gig announcement. I just like it.
Be ready to rock at 8am next Thursday, when tickets will be available from all the usual outlets.
